About DTF Now
DTF Now prints direct-to-film transfers from a workshop in Gillingham, Kent. Every sheet that leaves us is printed, powdered and cured here — not ordered in, not drop-shipped, not routed through someone else's factory. Order before 1PM on a working day and it is printed and in the post the same afternoon.
We have been printing as DTF Now since 2024, supplying print shops, garment decorators, embroidery businesses, schools, clubs, and people making one shirt for one occasion. There is no minimum order on anything we sell, and there never has been.
The workshop
Unit C, Chalmers Way, Gillingham, Kent ME8 6PF. A real address with real machines in it. You are welcome to collect in person rather than wait for the post, and a good number of our Medway customers do exactly that.
We run SABTEX® hardware end to end. Our DTF for fabric comes off SD70-4 lines — an inline printer and coating system with a 600mm print width, where printing, powdering and curing happen in a single pass rather than being handed between separate machines. That is why 56cm is our standard gang sheet width.
Alongside them sits a SABTEX UVSD60-4, a 60cm UV-DTF printer with a combined coating system and fast-cure UV inks — which is why our UV-DTF gang sheets run to 59cm. Running separate lines for fabric and hard-surface work means a large gang sheet order does not stop A4 singles going out the same afternoon.
Because we print everything ourselves, we can tell you honestly how busy we are. Our workshop status page shows the live production queue before you order, so you are never guessing whether today's cut-off is realistic. Very few suppliers will show you that.
What we print
- DTF transfers for fabric — gang sheets from 56x100cm, A3 and A4 sheets, and single transfers from 5x5cm to 25x55cm.
- ECO-DTF — the same transfer on an OEKO-TEX certified paper carrier instead of PET film, printed with water-based pigment inks, so the backing goes in the paper recycling.
- UV-DTF and low-tack UV-DTF — peel-and-stick transfers for glass, wood, metal, tumblers, card and packaging. No heat press needed.
- Sublimation sheets and custom vinyl stickers.
Gang sheets ship uncut as standard. If you would rather not spend an evening with a craft knife, Cut DTF is an optional paid service — order it and we cut every design out of the sheet before dispatch, so your transfers arrive separated and ready to press.
The gang sheet builder
Most DTF suppliers ask you to send a print-ready file and hope the layout is right. We built our own gang sheet builder instead — background removal, auto-build, a visual sizing aid, a saved design gallery, and direct import from Canva and Dropbox. It is free to use, and you see the sheet before you pay for it.
How we work
Order by 1PM Monday to Friday for same-day dispatch. Royal Mail 24h Tracked at £5.95, or Special Delivery guaranteed by 1PM at £9.95. Collection from the workshop if you are local.
We publish our press settings in full rather than keeping them vague: 157°C for 13–15 seconds on cotton and polycotton, 130°C for 8–10 seconds on polyester, 55–70psi, a 3–5 second cool before peeling, then a 5–8 second post-press to seal the edges. Applied to spec, our transfers survive 60+ washes. The full method is on our press instructions page.
Trade accounts
Spend £500 with us across any rolling 12 months and you get 30% off our standard DTF transfers for fabric — published prices, no tiers to climb, no monthly fee. Full terms on the wholesale page.
