How to Use the Visual Aid Tool

If you are working with white text, pale artwork or anything with a soft edge, a white on-screen background makes it almost impossible to see what you are doing. The Visual Aid tool fixes that.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open Settings
Go to the Settings section from your main builder dashboard.
  2. Find Visual Aid
Locate the option labelled Visual Aid within the settings panel.
  3. Pick a Colour
Click the colour selector and choose a background colour that contrasts well with your artwork.
  4. Carry On Designing
Your designs are now much easier to read on screen.

This Does Not Print

The colour you choose is a screen setting only. It is not part of your print file and will never appear on your transfer. It is purely there to help you see what you are doing.

Pro Tip

Set it to a mid-grey or a dark colour. That is the quickest way to spot stray white borders, misaligned edges or bits of background that did not get removed properly.

A five-second change that catches problems you would otherwise miss.

Order by 1PM Monday to Friday and your sheet is printed, powdered and in the post the same day.

Please note: The gang sheet builder is provided by a third-party app and its features may change over time. Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving their artwork before ordering. DTF Now is not liable for issues caused by artwork that was not checked before it was submitted.
